Villa Santhi Terms of Stay
To ensure your stay with us is safe and trouble-free, please observe the following terms and conditions:
Your booking is provisional until we receive your 25% deposit and send you a confirmation email, at which point it is confirmed.
The balance of your villa rental fee is due 2 months before checking in. We reserve the right to charge 1% per day for late payment, and to cancel your booking without notice if we do not receive this promptly.
If you cancel your booking, or if we cancel it due to late payment, we will charge you as follows:
More than 12 weeks before check-in: 100 Euros.
8-12 weeks before check-in: Deposit only.
6-8 weeks before check-in: Deposit plus 25% of villa rental fee.
4-6 weeks before check-in: Deposit plus 50% of villa rental fee.
2-4 weeks before check-in: Deposit plus 75% of villa rental fee.
Less than 2 weeks before check-in: Deposit plus 100% of villa rental fee.
In return for the villa rental fee, we undertake to provide you with clean, safe and comfortable accommodation in Villa Santhi.
We also undertake to provide all the equipment and facilities it is reasonable to expect in a luxury holiday villa.
Please check with us before confirming your booking if there is something that you specifically need us to provide and we will do our best to meet your requirements.
We will bill you for other items (meals, excursions, etc.) on an approximately weekly basis, with a final bill when you check out.
Most of our prices are in Euros. When we convert to the local currency (Indonesian Rupiah), or if a conversion to/from another currency is necessary, we will use the exchange rate in force on that day as published by
www.XE.com
or, if this is not available, from a local bank such as Mandiri.
We will add a 2% surcharge to any payments you make by credit card (VISA/MasterCard).
With the exception of your booking deposit, we will deduct a 4% fee from any payments you make via PayPal.
The villa rental fee includes complimentary breakfast. This is available from 08.30 each day and is limited to 1 breakfast for each guest, not including infants under 3 years of age.
For the safety and comfort of our guests and staff, we do not allow smoking in the villa bedrooms.
Be aware that our swimming pool is deep and not fenced in, and that you should be vigilant with children around the pool, as well as near our fishpond and moat.
We do not allow pets in the villa and request that you refrain from encouraging any animals which may try to enter the villa.
Please do not bring strong-smelling fruit such as durian into the villa.
You are welcome to bring guests into the villa between 8am and 11pm. We just ask that they report to reception on arrival and departure, we reserve the right to refuse admission and we charge a fee of 5 Euros per person for outside guests to use the swimming pool.
We may allow some guests to stay overnight, but this is entirely at our discretion. There is a charge of 35 Euros per person for overnight guests and, in addition to the terms defined above, such guests must submit their passports and/or identity cards to us for the duration of their stay.
To conserve energy and protect the environment, please consume electricity and water appropriately and switch off lights, A/C and other devices when not in use.
Please hang your clothes and towels on the towel stands provided and not on the balcony rails, furniture, artwork or electronics.
Please do not take any of our property such as towels, etc. out of the villa without our permission.
Please follow the instructions for using the equipment in the villa and treat the items that belong to the villa with appropriate care. We reserve the right to charge you for any lost or broken items and for any damage you or your guests may cause to the villa or grounds.
Please take care of the villa keys as, if these are lost, we will have to replace all of the locks in the villa.
For your security, please keep your valuables and important items in the safety boxes provided. We will not be liable for any loss of valuables left in villa area.
Please do not leave cameras, mobile phones, iPods, etc. plugged in overnight or when you leave the villa as they could be damaged during lighting storms.
Please be aware that gambling, pornography, drugs and weapons are illegal in Indonesia and the penalties can be harsh.
Please respect the customs and sensitivities of the local people and avoid causing offence through inappropriate dress or behaviour.
We are happy to arrange activities such as dolphin watching, snorkelling, diving, trekking, etc. Any activities you want us to arrange need to be confirmed in writing by 16.00 hours on the day before they are due to take place. If you make your own arrangements, you do so at your own risk.
The earliest check in time is 14.00 hours, but this is of course negotiable depending on prior bookings.
The latest check out time is 12.00 hours, but this is of course negotiable depending on subsequent bookings.
At our discretion, late checkouts may be subject to a charge of 5 Euros per hour.
We are flexible enough to cater for a wide variety of guests, so please inform our staff if there is anything you would like to change in the way the villa is set up or run.
